Long-Term Advisor - Western Cape
A prominent financial services provider is looking for an experienced LONG-TERM INSURANCE / INVESTMENT ADVISOR, to join their dynamic team in the WESTERN CAPE.
This is a permanent position that includes a lucrative commission structure.
The purpose of this position is to manage and develop business through existing and new opportunities across the long-term insurance and investment spectrum. A targeted focus and measured deliverables shall include sourcing of qualified and lucrative new business, successfully onboarding new clients through compliant processes as well as identifying and developing market share through optimizing existing clientele via cross selling and detailed needs analysis
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum matric with a tertiary qualification advantageous.
Minimum 7 years’ general working experience in the long-term insurance industry.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in long-term insurance advisory and sales services, together with investment products and services for clientele.
A NQF level 5 qualification together with a RE5 and / or RE1 certificate is a pre-requisite to all applications.
Qualification and certification as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) highly advantageous.
Relevant and applicable classes of business (COB) to long-term insurance and investment products.
Fit and Proper in terms of the legislative requirements as prescribed by the FSCA.
In depth knowledge of and proven experience in the marketing (sales) of long-term insurance products across the board.
Knowledge and proven experience to investment portfolios, fund management, and confident yet responsible advice to clients in terms thereof.
Highly entrepreneurial with a proven track record of successful business development in a similar role in the Western Cape.
A strong business network and client referral base highly advantageous.

Valid driver’s license. Own reliable transport
